Where we are dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for our students.

Principal’s Remarks

As we prepare to take off into a brand-new school year, I am filled with gratitude and anticipation for the journey ahead. Clyde Elementary is known for its strong community spirit, dedicated staff, and the joyful energy of our youngest learners, and I am honored to join this amazing team.

This year, my focus is on building strong and meaningful relationships with our students, families, and staff. I believe that when we work together and support one another, great things happen for our children. Whether it’s greeting students each morning, collaborating with teachers in classrooms, or connecting with families at events, I am committed to being present, approachable, and engaged.

Together, we will foster a school environment that is safe, nurturing, and full of curiosity and wonder. My goals include continuing the tradition of excellence here at Clyde while also exploring new opportunities for growth, innovation, and connection. I am especially excited about partnering with our families to ensure every child feels valued, inspired, and ready to soar.

Let’s embark on this new journey with open hearts and high hopes. As Clyde Fliers, we are ready to lift off into a year filled with learning, laughter, and endless possibilities!

With pride and excitement,
Ashli Reineck

Arrival & Dismissal

Arrival

School begins at 8:50 a.m. Students may arrive starting at 8:30 a.m. Upon arrival, all students should report directly to their classrooms.
Students who walk to school should not arrive before 8:30 a.m. unless they are eating breakfast. Breakfast is served from 8:30–8:50 a.m.

Dismissal

To reduce congestion inside the school and in the parking lots, dismissal will be by grade level:

  • Kindergarten: 3:20 p.m. (front of the building)
  • First Grade: 3:30 p.m. (front of the building)
  • Second Grade: 3:35 p.m. (back of the building by the playground)

All K–1 walkers will exit through the front doors.
All 2nd grade walkers will exit through the back doors by the playground.

For families with students in both grade bands (K–1 and 2), students will exit through the front doors.

Students are expected to stay on the sidewalk and cross the street only with their parent/guardian, assisted by the crossing guard. Students who are being picked up must wait for an adult to meet them on the sidewalk in front of the school.

FOR SAFETY REASONS, CHILDREN WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WALK THROUGH THE PARKING LOT INDEPENDENTLY—THEY MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

Students who ride a bus home will report to a designated area until their bus arrives at the school.
